Arizona Cardinals inactives: Kyler Murray out for 2nd straight week

New York Mets

The Arizona Cardinals were without quarterback Kyler Murray for the second consecutive game. It was expected. They released their inactive list 90 minutes before kickoff against the Green Bay Packers at State Farm Stadium.

However, among the players officially listed as questionable to play, guard Will Hernandez, receiver Zay Jones and defensive lineman Darius Robinson would all dress and play.

Arizona Cardinals Week 7 inactive list

  • QB Kyler Murray
  • CB Elijah Jones
  • S Kitan Crawford
  • RB Emari Demercado
  • OL Demontrey Jacobs
  • OL Josh Fryar

Crawford was questionable to play with an ankle injury, and Demercado was ruled out with an ankle injury. D’Ernest Johnson was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday and presumably would fill in for Demercado on passing downs and special teams.

With Murray out, Jacoby Brissett would start for the Cardinals at quarterback.

It would mark the return for Robinson, who missed two games with a pectoral injury.
