What happened to Aaron Rodgers in Steelers’ game against Bengals?

At just one game above. 500 at the time of this writing, the Pittsburgh Steelers are busy trying to hold off the red-hot, rival Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North division race. The Steelers’ hopes of securing that division title might have taken a huge blow after starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered an injury mid-game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

The future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback suffered a left-hand injury and had to leave the field for treatment. This put the Steelers’ offense in the hands of veteran backup Mason Rudolph. For everyone in Pittsburgh, this is quite obviously a less-than-ideal situation when it comes to a Steelers team trying to stay above water in its division title race:



At the time of his injury, Rodgers had 1,853 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing over 66 percent of his passes. While Rodgers has struggled at times, that’s not production you can just replicate on a dime.
