Deebo Samuel and Jake Moody reunited.
Another layer, Moody hit the game winning kick for the Bears to beat the Commanders this season. https://t.co/RI0YjyyJod

Two tidbits on Jake Moody:
1) He hit the 38-yard clincher for the Bears in the game that started Washington’s ongoing losing streak
2) He, like Gay, has struggled from beyond 50 yards. Between college and the NFL, he is just 10 of 22 from 50+

Fitting the Commanders signed Jake Moody today as we watch Daniel Carlson on MNF.
Carlson was another early-drafted kicker who fizzled on his first team(Vikings). Became a stellar mainstay with Raiders That could be Moody’s path. Kickers often figure it out multiple stops in.

Dan Quinn with a non-update of sorts on Jayden Daniels: “I’ll have a better update coming back from the bye (next Monday). Rehab portion’s going good.”
— Tom Schad (@Tom_Schad) November 17, 2025
The Broncos-Commanders game will remain the Sunday night game on Nov. 30 and won’t be flexed out of prime time.

Just the thought of Jayden Daniels playing football keeps us primetime. #RaiseHail

Jay Gruden is tired of hearing people say Jayden Daniels isn’t durable. He thinks Daniels should come back this season so WSH can play well and put the NFC East on notice that they are back entering the offseason. pic.twitter.com/fd8uOxFDBZ

#Commanders DT Javon Kinlaw had a number of big run stops yesterday. Few examples here:
-1st play was 3rd&2, made stop for 1 yard
-2nd play was 1st&goal, stop for 1 yard
-3rd play was 3rd&goal, stop for no gain pic.twitter.com/eLISEx8vve— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) November 17, 2025
Josh Conerly Jr continues to take steps at RT for Washington.
He’s allowed just two pressures the last two weeks combined (63 pass pro snaps), and hasn’t given up a sack in nearly a month.
Been under a ton of heat in his rookie year but the execution is getting there. Slowly…

Dan Quinn said S Quan Martin, who typically receives 100% of snaps, played fewer snaps than usual on Sunday because “some corrections had to be made.” https://t.co/7ryZwuqvNL

ESPN sources: Falcons QB Michael Penix suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Panthers. Penix will be seeking a second opinion, but it is not encouraging. pic.twitter.com/GiWa64ofSN

That was an interesting onside kick attempt by the Raiders, with the high-pop punt. It fails as the Cowboys recover. That leaves NFL teams with three recoveries in 39 onside kick attempts this season, according to the ESPN broadcast.
