Tampa Bay Buccaneers

January 5, 2025 is a day that few of the 63,001 Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans at Raymond James Stadium – as well as many more watching on TV – will ever forget. The main headline was that the Buccaneers beat the New Orleans Saints, 27-19, to clinch their fourth straight NFC South title, but there was a pretty significant side story as well. Hall of Fame-bound wide receiver Mike Evans came into the game needing 85 yards to tie Jerry Rice for the most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons in NFL history. With 36 seconds left in the game, Evans had 80 yards and the Buccaneers had just gotten the ball back in what would usually be a kneel-down situation.
