In the span of six months, the Green Bay Packers have put their money where their mouth is. No, not because of last week’s trade-and-sign $188 million deal with edge rusher Micah Parsons. By signing punter Daniel Whelan to a two-year contract extension on Thursday, the Packers now have all three of their specialists — Whelan, long-snapper Matt Orzech and kicker Brandon McManus — under contract for the next XX seasons.
