Predicting Bears’ remaining schedule: How many wins in Chicago’s final 13 games?

Philadelphia Phillies

The Chicago Bears are sitting at 2-2 after a 25-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4. Coming off the bye week, there’s still plenty of football left to be played, where Chicago is looking to make a push in the NFC.

Still, there’s plenty to watch over the final 13 games of the 2025 season, including quarterback Caleb Williams’ continued progress under head coach Ben Johnson, Chicago’s young playmakers including Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland, as well as key areas of concern with run defense and their rushing attack.

With Chicago coming off their bye week, we’re predicting Chicago’s final 13 games, which presents a favorable slate fresh off the bye.

Week 6: at Washington Commanders (Oct. 13)

Last year, the Bears‘ season was derailed by the Hail Mary loss to the Commanders. This time, don’t expect anything too dramatic. But Washington should emerge victorious in this one, given they just have the more well-rounded test, barring an unreal game from Caleb Williams. Prediction: LOSS

Week 7: vs. New Orleans Saints (Oct. 19)

The Saints just won their first game of the season, against the New York Giants, but they’re still a favorable matchup for the Bears. While Chicago has lost eight straight dating back to 2011, the Bears are primed to snap that streak with an ascending offense and a defense that has a chance for a get-right game. Prediction: WIN

Week 8: at Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 26)

The Ravens are even more beat up than the Bears, but it remains to be seen if they’ll still be without key starters when Chicago comes to town. I definitely think this game is more winnable than previously thought, especially as the Ravens are 1-4 and riding a three-game losing streak. The Bears could sneak out a win if all goes right. Prediction: WIN

Week 9: at Cincinnati Bengals (Nov. 2)

This was another game that looked more difficult at the start of the season. But with Joe Burrow out for most of the season, this game has become quite winnable for the Bears. There are opportunities for Chicago’s offense to thrive while the defense won’t have to face an MVP-caliber QB. Prediction: WIN

Week 10: vs. New York Giants (Nov. 9)

The Giants have a great defensive front, which will pose the biggest challenge for the Bears in this game. But if Caleb Williams can get into an early rhythm, and the defense brings the pressure on rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, Chicago has the potential to come away with a big victory. Prediction: WIN

Week 11: at Minnesota Vikings (Nov. 16)

The Bears blew an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter back in Week 1 against J.J. McCarthy, who’s been out with injury. Assuming McCarthy is back by this point, Chicago has a chance for redemption to win a game they should’ve won back in Week 1. Prediction: WIN

Week 12: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (Nov. 23)

The Steelers are the kings of the AFC North through the first five weeks, and they’ve suddenly become the most difficult matchup for the Bears on paper in that division. It’ll mark Aaron Rodger’s return to Soldier Field, where he made a career dominating Chicago. Unfortunately, that continues with Pittsburgh. Prediction: LOSS

Week 13: at Philadelphia Eagles (Nov. 28)

While the Eagles are coming off their first loss of the season, they remain one of the best teams in the NFC, so this game isn’t going to be easy. Philadelphia is simply the better team, and Saquon Barkley is absolutely going to destroy a struggling Bears run defense. Hopefully this game isn’t as ugly as Week 2’s loss against the Lions. Prediction: LOSS

Week 14: at Green Bay Packers (Dec. 7)

The Bears should’ve swept the Packers last season, but Green Bay did get better with the addition of Micah Parsons, who could make life difficult on Caleb Williams. Still, this team will go only as far as Jordan Love takes them. Unfortunately for Chicago, he has the benefit of going against a Bears defense that’s one of the worst in the league (outside of third down and takeaways). Prediction: LOSS

Week 15: vs. Cleveland Browns (Dec. 14)

The Browns might be one of the worst teams in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean the Bears (or any team) should sleep on them. Because while their offense has left a lot to be desired, that defense remains elite with Myles Garrett leading the charge. The Browns already bested the Packers this season, and they nearly had the Vikings last week, so Chicago will be lucky to sneak out a narrow victory. Prediction: WIN

Week 16: vs. Green Bay Packers (Dec. 20)

Considering Chicago should’ve swept Green Bay last season, and with a worse roster and coaching staff, it feels like the Bears should get at least one victory over their rivals. After one meeting against this Packers squad, look for Ben Johnson’s squad to bounce back. Prediction: WIN

Week 17: at San Francisco 49ers (Dec. 28)

The Bears were dominated by the 49ers last year in San Francisco. And while that might not be the case this time around, the 49ers have proven to be among the most consistent NFC teams even amid injuries to key starters. On the prime-time stage, and potentially with playoff implications, the home team edges out the Bears for the win. Prediction: LOSS

Week 18: vs. Detroit Lions (TBD)

The Bears were absolutely humiliated by the Lions in Week 2 to the tune of 52 points, and Dan Campbell’s team kept rubbing salt in the wound until it was clear they were fine without Ben Johnson. Naturally, this presents a great opportunity for Johnson to get redemption and beat his old team. But the Lions, once again, look like the class of the NFC. If they’re fighting for playoff seeding and have plenty on the line, this could be another rough one for this Chicago defense. Prediction: LOSS

Final Record: 9-8

This still remains the best possible outcome for the Bears in this final stretch, especially considering a loaded slate in the back-half of the season against the Eagles, Lions, Packers (x2) and 49ers. But, the good news for Chicago, is their next stretch of games features some good matchups that present opportunities for wins. Considering the Bears’ struggling defense, and notable injury struggles, coupled with the offense in Year 1 under Ben Johnson, this wouldn’t be the worst finish for Chicago — and, who knows, perhaps it might put them in the playoff hunt.
