Marshawn Lloyd suffered a non-contact injury during Monday’s training camp that sidelined the second-year running back for a second consecutive training camp. “I feel for him because he’s worked so hard to get his body in elite shape and overcome some of these injuries, and sometimes you’re a little bit snake-bit,” said Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. A soft tissue groin injury seems daunting, but Lloyd’s biggest mentor has faith he’ll return soon. “He’s not battling something that’s going to make him limited, miss a lot of time,” said fellow Packers running back Josh Jacobs.
