Former Vols by the numbers in 2025 MLB Week 25

Week 25 of the 2025 MLB season has concluded.

Four former Vols began the week in MLB: Jordan Beck (Colorado), Garrett Crochet (Boston), Drew Gilbert (San Francisco) and Chase Dollander (Colorado).



Dollander was placed on the 15-day injured list on Sept. 13 due to a strained patella tendon in his left knee.

Chase Burns returned to the Reds on Sept. 12 after missing an extended period of time due to a flexor strain.

Christian Moore and Chase Silseth returned to MLB for the Angels’ series against Seattle after being with Triple-A Salt Lake City.

Seth Halvorsen has not returned to Colorado from the 15-day injured list after suffering a right elbow strain on Aug. 2.

Jordan Beck

Beck played at Tennessee from 2020-22. He recorded 18 home runs, 61 RBIs, 70 runs, 75 hits, 15 doubles, three triples, 37 walks and six stolen bases in 66 games during the Vols’ SEC championship season in 2022.

Drew Gilbert

Chase Dollander

Dollander (17-6) appeared in 33 games, including 31 starts, from 2022-23 at Tennessee. He recorded 228 strikeouts, one complete game and a 3.64 ERA in 168 innings pitched during his Tennessee career.

Christian Moore

Christian Moore

Moore played at Tennessee from 2022-24 and appeared in 186 games, totaling 61 home runs, 160 RBIs and 179 runs. He recorded a .375 batting average, 34 home runs, 74 RBIs, 83 runs and 38 walks in 72 games during Tennessee’s 2024 national championship season.

Chase Silseth
