Sartell-St. Stephen sophomore Olivia Terhune is the St. Cloud Times athlete of the week winner.
The volleyball athlete won with over 26.5% of the vote after playing 22 sets in the Sabres’ 5-2 week Sept. 7-13, 2025. She had 66 kills on 134 attempts, but Terhune’s most mind-blowing stat was her 30 blocks. She also had eight digs and an ace.
Sartell (10-7) sophomore setter Kate Thompson was second in voting with 18.9% of votes. Foley (12-3) volleyball junior Abby Wheeler was third.
Last week Sartell volleyball was 1-0 with a 3-1 win at home against Fergus Falls (7-6). The Sabres have two more home games this week, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday against Brainerd (1-12) and at 7 p.m. on Thursday against St. Cloud Apollo (0-10).
